She declares best friends don't make good lovers. When he joins the military the news upsets her. As he consoles her the hugs and tears turn into an uncontrolled passion. Years later, Captain Matt Sadler receives a letter from home. The contents have blindsided him to the point that he gets grounded from flying and sent home to get things worked out.
